Air control systems and extraction

Bridge Group are also highly experienced in the specification, design and manufacture of air control systems, extraction and input, canopies, condensing hoods, wall cladding and stainless steel service walls.

All canopies and air control systems are manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel and contain a full-length filter housing consisting of baffle type grease filters. They have collection trays at points along the underside of the filter housing for the grease. All joints and corners are welded and polished and all raw edges folded and flattened to give a smooth finish. When the canopy is manufactured in sections, the jointing pieces fixed together have channel shaped capping pieces to hide all fixings and internal folded edges. All canopies are sealed to form a grease tight unit and are manufactured in accordance with DW172.

Types of canopies include:

• Island canopies
• Wall mounted canopies
• Radius fronted wall canopies

When required we can manufacture canopies that include replacement air control systems. The supply air chambers can be made to suit the needs of the installation. The most common type of grill that we install is a double deflection grill that includes a damper system for balancing the air.Small condenser canopies can be manufactured for kitchen areas that have steam production from the kitchen equipment.
