This project was designed and installed last summer with a client who wanted a functional hard-wearing kitchen to be both practical but look semi-domestic as it was set within a charity-based environment.

The brief required us to provide a high quality stainless steel tops with inset hand wash basins and cut outs to receive inset induction cooking hobs.

The island unit was to formed with a step down at one end to hold a bain marie soup well, with void to centre for roll in and out equipment.

Both the L shaped work top and the island work top was formed with an MDF substrate below the top to enable the fitters to fix onto the domestic units supplied by another party.
